Proud of Lithuania: A Fairy Tale by Sweet Root  is a tale about the true meaning of a dinner full of Lithuanian emotions and inspired by the natural rhythm of nature. It is a desire to remember and rediscover the unique seasonality of our country and the ingredients that change with it on our plates. It’s a step back into the past and the future at the same time. A step away from global temptations to wild meadows, forests and gardens. It is a rediscovery of our roots, not only philosophically, but also physically. The purpose of this story is not to become a practical guide in the kitchen (although you will find a list of recipes in the book), but simply to restore pride in who we are and where we live.
